On 6 August 2026, MCVTA hosted a Networking Lunch at Courtyard by Marriott Setia Alam, bringing together representatives from peer associations, OEMs, truck dealers, body builders and other key industry stakeholders.
The networking lunch provided an open platform for the industry to share feedback,
exchange ideas and experiences, and discuss the challenges faced by the commercial
vehicle sector.
Representatives from Malaysia Trucking Federation (MTF), Association of Malaysian Hauliers (AMH), Malaysia Tipper Lorry Operators' Association (MTLOA), The Federation of Malaysia Hardware, Machinery & Building Materials Dealers' Association (FMHMBA), Federation of Malaysian Manufacturing (FMM), Persatuan Usahawan Logistik Semanjung Malaysia (PULSE), Malaysian Automotive Association (MAA), MAN Truck & Bus Malaysia, UD Trucks Malaysia, Isuzu Malaysia, SITRAK Malaysia, SGS, U-Li Auto Parts & Service Sdn. Bhd. and Edaran Riz Sdn. Bhd. joined us and shared their industry challenges, feedback and suggestions.
The valuable feedback and insights gathered during the session also reflected a shared view among industry stakeholders on the need to establish a special task group that brings together the various sectors of the commercial vehicle industry. The group would provide a collective platform to engage with the Government and work towards practical solutions for the industry.
MCVTA thanks all participants for their contributions and active engagement. We look
forward to building on this collaboration and working together to address the challenges and opportunities facing Malaysia’s commercial vehicle industry.
